Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 cup frozen peas
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. 2Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. 3Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. 4Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
