Healthy Heart has been delivering lunch to 5 of our locations since 2015. Pam helped us create a CACFP-compliant menu that accommodates allergies and dietary preferences. Our lunch arrives on time, fresh, and warm. When something comes up or we need to make changes, Healthy Heart is always available to assist us. We highly recommend Healthy Heart!

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with Healthy Heart's CACFP service?

CACFP made easy with Healthy Heart Food Services. Our full-service CACFP program includes: CACFP-approved menu cycles designed by a registered dietitian; full nutrition breakdowns per menu; production records, ingredient statements, and CN labels for every meal delivered; a Customer Portal where your daily delivery invoices and records are stored, batched, and ready to print; direct guidance on the CACFP submission and approval process; and dietary, cultural, and allergy accommodations (halal, kosher, vegetarian, nut-free). Your team still files with your CACFP sponsor or the NY State DOH, but every piece you need is in your hands, organized and ready.

Are your meals approved for CACFP reimbursement?

Yes. All our menus are designed by a registered dietitian to meet CACFP meal pattern requirements. We provide the documentation you need for reimbursement claims, including production records, ingredient statements, and full nutrition breakdowns.

Do you serve infant meals?

Yes. We offer CACFP-compliant infant meals including iron-fortified formula, infant cereals, and age-appropriate fruits and vegetables following CACFP infant meal patterns.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Absolutely. We work with each center to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions while maintaining CACFP compliance. Our facility can be nut-free upon request, and substitution documentation is maintained automatically.

How do I switch from my current food provider?

We make transitions seamless. Our team handles menu planning, delivery scheduling, documentation handoff, and staff orientation. Most centers transition within 1-2 weeks, and we provide direct guidance through any CACFP paperwork changes the transition requires.

What areas do you serve?

We deliver throughout New York City (all 5 boroughs) plus Westchester County and Nassau County.

Do you provide documentation for CACFP audits?

Yes. We provide complete production records, ingredient statements, CN labels, and menu documentation, and we keep these organized in the Customer Portal so your center is audit-ready year-round. If your sponsor or the NY State Department of Health requests records, you have everything you need to submit immediately.

Ready to Simplify CACFP Compliance?

We provide meal programs for organizations and facilities only — not individual households.
